OVERVIEW

On Wednesday, November 2 2016 the Chicago Cubs made history by breaking their 108-year drought and winning the World Serie3s against the Cleveland Indians. “I think it’s very important to celebrate” manager Joe Madden stated and Chicago did just that!

The morning after the winning game 7, the Cubs organization engaged Paulette Wolf Events to produce a once in a lifetime celebration the Metro Chicago & the iconic Wrigley Field. simply called “THE PARTY”. With only 36 hours of planning and preparation time, the PWE & Cubs team worked together to coordinate with all of the sponsors, vendors and venues to make this event a HUGE success.

OVERVIEW

At TNC’s 60th Anniversary Gala, there was plenty of seating, no lines for food or at the bars, lots of incredible, interactive elements, including activation stations surrounding their 5 pillars of work (land, water, people, climate & cities). There was also a passport system that encouraged the journey throughout the event. Much of the focus of the evening was on education in addition to fundraising and this event exceeded all of their goals.

This non-traditional gala was an immersive journey into TNC’s brand and was filled with interactive elements and messaging at every turn. The gala began with an enticing environment filled with images and video mapping on the ceiling of the venue, which allowed us to control the imagery, lighting and ambience throughout the night. We used projection mapping to enliven and animate the surroundings of the guests. At the appointed hour, a buffalo stampede was unveiled above the audience with a drumline to direct guests’ attention to the front of the stage for the brief program. Guests mingled and met beneath a beautifully projected sky, enjoying custom cocktails and delicious hors d’oeuvres.

We helped formulate a new fundraising model – a model that engages your senses, surprises you throughout the evening, excites you to interact with hands-on activities, and takes down barriers so guests feel comfortable to network with everyone at the event while donating to your cause. We piloted this concept for The Nature Conservancy’s (TNC) 60th Anniversary Gala and it received rave reviews from the 500 high-level donors, sponsors, guests & executive team and raised over $1M for the organization.

Paulette Wolf Events managed the Winterland Tree Lighting Ceremony, a free public event held at Gallagher Way in Wrigleyville, Chicago. This exciting ceremony officially kicked off the holiday season, offering a festive atmosphere for all who attended.

Following the tree lighting, the celebrations continued with a variety of family-friendly activities. Attendees enjoyed live music performances, festive holiday rides, a charming Winter Market perfect for holiday shopping, and special opportunities to meet Santa Claus.

OVERVIEW

The 1060 Project, a ceremony for Wrigley Field’s long-awaited expansion and restoration, hosted 350 dignitaries, VIP’s, media & Chicago Cubs alumni. This event included a ceremonial dig with baseball bat shovels and a backdrop of the iconic scoreboard surrounded by construction already underway in the outfield.

As guests arrived and walked down a Cubbie Blue carpet, they were greeted by local youth baseball teams in Cubs throwback uniforms and wait staff dressed in vintage inspired costumes passing Cracker Jack and waters. Guests were led onto the field and given ceremonial 1060 Project construction helmets to wear for the program. The program featured inspiring speeches from Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Major League Baseball Commissioner Allan H. (Bud) Selig, former Cub Kerry Wood along with Team Presidents Crane Kenney and Theo Epstein and Owner Tom Ricketts.

As the ceremony came to a close, we invited stage participants for the ceremonial shovel dig with shovels made from baseball bats. A lone trumpet player began to play amidst the audience closely followed by two more horn players who were hidden in the crowd. 40 horn players from the upper deck joined in to play the iconic “Go, Cubs Go” song. This cued a kabuki drop revealing the W flag and announcing the conclusion of the ceremony, marking a new beginning for this legendary team and ballpark.

OVERVIEW

Paulette Wolf Events has been producing the PEAK6 Anniversary Celebration Event for the last 19 years. Every event is focused on a particular theme highlighted with major decor, outstanding food, and name entertainment, which is always a surprise, in a unique space with constant engagement. This year’s event was the 25th anniversary and by far the most incredible one yet. It was held at the end of April in the Navy Pier ballroom for 2,000 people. This year’s theme was G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time) in every genre imaginable. Guests were dressed in amazing costumes, some of the most notable were Serena Williams, Queen Elizabeth, Beyonce, and Shakespeare. All of the food stations and bars highlighted famous GOATs such as Jimi Hendrix, Michael Jordan, Beethoven, Frida Kahlo, Steve Jobs, and Alexander Graham Bell. The activities included a G.O.A.T. arcade featuring the greatest games of all time, actual goats dressed as G.O.A.T.s, living statues, fun interactive entertainment of all kinds, and a 3D Avatar station. Everyone in attendance spent the evening dancing along with the featured performances from Sam Hunt and Bruno Mars. Overall, this evening was the greatest of all time.

PWE has been producing the PEAK6 Anniversary Celebration Event since 2004. Over the years, talent has included The Counting Crows, Bon Jovi, The Goo Goo Dolls, The Script, Gavin DeGraw, Keith Urban, Maroon 5, The Chainsmokers, Train, Jason Derulo, Flo Rida, Stevie Wonder, Imagine Dragons & Kygo.
