2015 marked the 18th anniversary of PEAK6, a Chicago-based asset risk management company. Because of crazy schedules and specific talent interests, we planned this year’s event in just 3 weeks. This much-anticipated annual event for 700 employees, clients and friends took place at The Geraghty. The vast space, extensive technology and production elements transported the guests into a country chic Wild West rock town.

Cowboys astride live horses greeted guests as they entered to the sounds of a fiddler fiddling. They then had to go through the gun inspection station where “county sheriffs” searched them & had their weapons checked. We created a western world that took the guests back to a time of gun spinning, trick roping and all things Wild West.

Highlights of the evening included jaw-dropping décor, themed food & beverages, a whiskey tasting station, a mechanical bull, a saloon setting with poker tables, a virtual shooting range, the 2015 World Champion Flair Bartender showcasing his craft and the chance to be jailed with Wild West robbers.

With the spirit of the Wild West high in the air, guests were delighted with a first-rate whip cracking & gun spinning performance by America’s Got Talent & Cirque Du Soleil star Loop Rawlins on a raised platform. At the peak of the evening, guests gathered on the dance floor to await the announcement of the “surprise” entertainment, only to find themselves caught in the heat of a staged bar brawl among 15 stunt men. Once the commotion subsided, the CEO of PEAK6 took the stage to announce the performance of four-time Grammy winner Keith Urban, who delivered an unbelievable two-hour concert. One lucky guest was even invited on stage to sing with him.

This unforgettable event that truly wowed the guests leaves PWE thinking about how to top it next year…
